  Text	Funeral services for August Semon, 79-year old war veteran was hel Frida y afternoon at 2:30 at the Geyer chapel...was born May 29, 1878 in German y and died Feb 24, 1958 at Mena. He came to America when only 4 years o f age. Military service in two wars, Spanish American and World War I. H e is survived by one son, Warren Semon of Concord, Mass., two daughters , Mrs. Richard C. Smith of Wolcott, NY and Mrs. AJ Willis of Maplewood, L a., one brother, Willie Semon and one sister, Elizabeth Mansker of East S t. Louis, Ill.
