Buried on the 19th at half past ten in the morning,
the murdered Joseph Seyfried, 61 yr old Citizen and Ackerman [farmer] of Leiberstung,
the spouse of Maria Burkant

Witnesses: Bernhard Lorenz, Ackerman [farmer] of Leiberstung
and Amend Droll, Schuhmachermeister [Master Shoemaker] of the same place

Note: this fits with the Baden emigration record Index Cards of Joseph's three sons which reference inheritances they received in Jan 1844, 9 months after this death record.
