Pioneer of County Dies in California

Information was received in this city yesterday of the death in Ocean Park, Cal. of Jonas H. Erekson of this city. Erekson was born in South Cottonwood, Salt Lake County 54 years ago and had spent all his life in this state. About four weeks ago, he went to California in the hope that the milder climate would restore his health which has been impaired for some time. The remains arrived here today and the the funeral will be held at 11 O'Clock tomorrow morning from the family residence at 201 East 11th South Street.

Erekson leaves a wife and four children.
