1855 War of 1812 Bounty Land Claim of Ralph Runyan

In the 1850s, Ralph Runyan was trying to obtain military bounty land. Those who served in the Revolutionary War or War of 1812 could apply and receive bounty land. In order to receive it, Ralph had to prove he served in the War of 1812.
The testimony of Ralph Runyan, age 63, resident of Avon:
-He was a first lieutenant in a company of Infantry.
-He enlisted on 20 Sep 1812 or 1813 for 2 months and 20 days.
-He was honorably discharged on 23 Dec 1812 or 1813.
-He makes this declaration for the purpose of obtaining bounty land.
