Wholesale commission merchant. Born September 25, 1874, in Morristown, Tenn. Son of J. F. and Mary (Carriger) Graves. Educated in the high school, and graduating int he year of 1891, and two years in the Carson & Newman College. He is president of Graves China Company, which firm was established in November, 1902, and incorporated October, 1904. They are wholesale commission dealers in china, glass, and fancy goods. Their business has steadily increased from the beginning up to the present time. The second year they had thirty-three and one-third per cent increase in business...
