Bishop James Ward's LDS Ward named as the "Missionary Ward"
In about 1900, when James Ward served as bishop in the North Ogden Ward in Utah, his was was so successful in sending out missionaires it became known as the "Missionary Ward". All together the North Ogden has sent out some 237 missionaries into the field since the ward was organized.
