OBITUARY
Payson: Mrs. Mary Eliza Erekson, 82 died Sunday afternoon from infirmities of age at the home of her son, Edgar James Erekson 713 South 5th East where she had been living for the past three years.
She was born in South Cottonwood, January 14, 1855, a daughter of James and Elizabeth Crisman Winchester. She was married to Jonas H. Erekson in South Cottonwood on January 21, 1878. They went to Mount Pleasant to live where Erekson was prominent in the sheep industry. They returned to Salt Lake 40 years ago. Mrs. Erekson was active in the Relief Society of the Farmers, McKinnley and Whittier Wards. Surviving are three sons: Edgar James and Lester H. Erekson of Payson, Hugh H. Erekson of Kamas, Utah; 11 grandchildren; 3 brothers and one sister: Benjamin Winchester, Ogden; Roy Winchester, Louisville, Idaho; Frank Winchester and Mrs. Josephine Wallace of San Diego, Calif.
Funeral plans will be announced by the Deseret Mortuary.
