Testimony of Carlos, F. Galen on 3 January 1874 in San Francisco

Carlos was an attorney born in Spain about 1831. See page 492 for the beginning of this record.

1) John Middleton of San Francisco and Charles Bouttier were partners of the Trinidad & San Jose Silver Mining Company.
2) Leopoldo Bouttier was the superintendent of the Trinidad & San Jose Silver Mining Company.
3) Leopoldo was maltreated and abused as a prisoner.
4) Leopoldo was made prisoner because he was French.
5) Leopoldo died from the effects of his imprisonment.
6) Carlos Galen learned this information from Mexican officers.
