Henry with 3 church members on his mission

This photograph was taken just before Henry left his mission in Europe. These three girls came to say goodbye and sang a song. While Henry's companion was taking the picture a young boy whispered to his mother, "Mama come and see the Mormon Minister with his wives!". One of the girls, Freide Wuthrich, became Henry's wife. The other women pictured are Mary Bigler and Anna Roseg. Fredie sang alto and was part of a singing group. On the way to say goodbye to Elder Weidman, Freide wore a pair of new shoes that she had not worn before and got blisters on her feet so she walked a lot of the way without shoes. The boy that shouted at Elder Weidman about these being his wives, actually got baptized later on. Elder Weidman invited them to church after their taunts.
