The Division or Valuation Notice of the Estate of John Wollerton

John Wollerton died intestate, without a will, leaving a considerable estate for his family. These documents are directing "twelve Good and Lawfull men" to contact each of the heirs of John's estate. They were to determine if the estate was to be divided equally, with William getting two eights, or if the heirs wanted to sell everything and distribute the remaining funds. The finding was that the estate was to be sold. Dated 2 January 1796. Source Information Ancestry.com. Chester County, Pennsylvania, Estate Papers, 1714-1838 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2013.
