    I, Nathaniel Torriano of London, Merchant... being now bound on a Voyage to China in the East Indies

    "All my children that shall be living at the time of my decease although borne after my [departure] from London on the aforementioned intended Voyage having then left my said dear wife great with Child very near the time of her delivery"

    "Appeared Elizabieth Torriano, widow, the Relict and one of the Executors named in last Will and Testament of Nathanael Torriano late of St. Swithin London Stone, London but at Batavia in the East Indies deceased and by virtue of her Corporall Oath deposed that on or about the 26th day of Apr last past the deponent received advice of her said husband’s death and that about ten days afterwards opened or caused to be opened the last Will and Testament of the said deceased …"
