Elizabeth Lanham and died before 1860 in his 59th year. Was from Ill.
Living in Sturgeon TWP. Pg 563-64: Elijah S Hawkins born 30 Mar 1832 in Howard
County, Michigan, md Julia Copher and Sallie Engleman, a member of United Work-
mens Union (officer pg 575), pg 578. He was a carpenter who built hotel 3
stories tall which was blown down by a tornado, built the first building in
Sturgeon TWP supposedly, for Smith and Burks, for a store. Lived near Sturgeon
before town laid out in 1856.
"Boone Co, MO Migration and Settlement" shows Weeden, Weldon Hawkins
md to Elizabeth, born ca 1798, died 3 May 1855 in Boone County. Information
