- SUE KELIIHELEUA
Sue "Kelii" Keliiheleua, 75, returned to her Heavenly Father Jan. 8, 2013. She was born Sept. 22, 1937 to James Murphy and Kathleen Franke in Inglewood, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Kelii; and her brother, James Manson. She is survived by her daughters, Teri Keliiheleua and Michelle Walkenhorst; son, Tony Kaleikilo; hanai son, David Patrick; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Sue had a great love of music, education, and community involvement. She was a skilled musician, entertaining many with her musical stylings on the steel guitar. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in elementary education, earned an MBA in hospital administration, and was always taking a class on something. She was a member of the Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the International Food Festival. Sue served in many callings, but her favorite was teaching the children in the Primary. We will miss the Matriarch of our family. Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Charleston Chapel, 3400 W. Charleston Blvd.
