Services for Sam Stonehocker, 88, who died Thursday evening, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home chapel. Rev. James A. Underwood will officiate with burial to follow in the Del Norte Cemetery near Drummond.
He was born March 8, 1879, in Barnard, Mo. and moved to Kansas at the age of 7. He was married in Wellington, Kan. June 3, 1907. and lived there till coming to Oklahoma. He settled in the Lahoma community where he farmed until 1959 when he retired and moved to Enid.
He was a member of the United Brethren Church.
Survivors include the widow, Grace, of the home; three sons, Joe, Lohoma, Herb, Lawton, and Marion, Enid; one daughter Mrs. Ray (Ina) Mosby, Wellington, Kan; one sister, Clara Yost, Cincinnati, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, and one daughter, Mrs. Marion (Helen) Brown, who died Oct. 18,1963.
