  2 SOUR S181 3 PAGE pp484-485,495,506 3 QUAY 3     There were ten children ( five sons and five daughters) according to the "Biological and Historical Record of Putnam County, Indiania"( See notes for references) p 495 Julia Kasch had a letter written in 1928 to Daisey Sutherland in 1928 (granddaughter) by William E. Routt who was 87 at the time. In it he stated that his grandfather, George Routt who was 87 at the time. In it He stated that his grandfather George Routt, and George's brother, our William Routt,came to Kentucky with three Hendrix men. They settled on adjoiningfarms in Bath Co. Kentucky. He also stated the Hendrix men were not brothers but cousins or second cousins. They were MosesHendrix, Sant Hendrix, and Theophilis Hendrix. He alsosaid that his grandfather and George Routt and Moses Hendrix wereclosly related. He seemed to remember that his grandmother Routthad been a Hendrix. We know that her name was Frances Hendrix,we don't know if she was Moses's sister or what the relationship. (this note was in Julia Kasch's research)
