Loyd M Neely, age 54, a common laborer in construction, of Purdin, Linn Co MO, died in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Excelsior Springs, Clay Co MO, on July 27, 1954 of Cor pulmonale with acute cardiac decompensation due to Tuberculosis, chronic, far advanced, active, severe symptoms, attended to by S C Stroff, MD of Excelsior Springs MO. Loyd was born August 17, 1899 in Browning MO, son of Elortus M. Neely and Dora M. Hooker. He was divorced, a citizen of the USA, SS#499-10-4588, a veteran of WWI. He was removed to Browning MO on 27 July 1954 by Claude Prichard of Excelsior Springs, cemetery unknown. Informant: VA Hospital, Excelsior Springs, MO.
