1816 Court Naming of Nancy Mary Ann Williams July 1816, Lincoln County, North Carolina Lightfoot Williams found a female child and requested the court for her to be called and known as Nancy Mary Ann Williams. Lightfoot Williams entered into a bond to give her a good education, a bed, and $1,000 when she turns 18 years old.
