Lauraine Violet Margaret Arneson Holling passed away on February 6, 2008, at the Highgate Senior Living, Vancouver, Washington. She we 87 years old. She was a beloved wife, mother, and homemaker. She also wokred and retired from NABISCO in Portland, Oregon. She lived life outside herself. "She was loved more than words can express and will be greatly missed. Many will still feel her love and warmth through her handmade quilts." Lauraine is survived in life by her son, Ronald and his wife Diane of Penhook, Virginia; her son, Marcus and his wife Penny of Vancouver, Washington; her daughter-in-law, Patricia of LaCenter, Washington; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Helen Billedeaux. She was preceded in death in 1999 by her husband of 58 years, William Ralph Holling; and in 2007 by her eldest son, William Ralph Holling, Jr. A public funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb 16, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 14400 NW 26th Ave., Vancouver, WA on the corner of Bliss Rd and 26th Ave. A Private interment will follow.
