  c1807 BIRTH: Hall Lewis Medlin born about 1800, no place shown (1880 census, if him-new wife) Will of Isaac Eades Sr: Hall (Hull) Medlin who md my dau Malinda 1835 MARRIAGE #1: IGI, Cole Co MO: Lewis Mellin Hall md Malinda Eads 3 Dec 1835, Cole Co MO, SS: 6 July 1973 OG Bef 1840 HIST: Trek to Texas 1770-1870 pg 24: "Hall Medlin stated that he had a wife and children when he moved to the tract of land for which he applied and he had erected a dwelling house prior to June 1840. This was the date necessary in order to purchase the land... this land was located at or near the present county seat of Platte City, Missouri... Eads, Allen and Medlin families migrated to Denton and Navarro (Tarrant Co) later..." 1842 HIST: Trek to Texas pg 24: "Annals of Platte Co, Missouri states 'Hall Medlin built a grist and saw mill on Smith's Fork in 1842 and... did the stone work on the new court house..." 1842 DEATH of wife: MO,Platte Co: Malinda Eads Medlin died Jan 1842. [Trek to Texas pg 24: "His wife Lucinda Eads, died soon after the birth of their son Isaac on January 15, 1842... In early 1844, a large group of families related by blood or marriage, loaded their wagons with supplies... left Platte Co, Missouri for Texas... Hall Medlin was listed in San Bernardino, CA 1860 census and is believed to have gone there in 1857... It was from Hays Co, Hall Medlin and several families left for California 10 years later.
