1913: "In 1913, the homestead was sold & the family moved to Prairie City, & later to Fox Oregon, where my home was at that time.
1914: "A year later my father & mother moved to John Day City..."
1919: "where my mother died July 25, 1918. After her death, my father made his home with my sister, Cora, for a number of years.
