"Adolph Wagner dies in hospital: Adolph L. Wagner, 87, of 313a E McCarty St., died unexpectedly Monday morning at a Jefferson City hospital.
A life-log resident of Jefferson City, Mr. Wagner was born April 15, 1881, the son of Conrad & Theresa Walter Wagner.
On April 4, 1904 he was married to the former Miss Hannah Knaup, who died April 23, 1956.
Survivors include: one daughter, Miss Ruth Wagner, of the home; one sister Mrs William Herfurth, Salem OR.
Mr Wagner's family was among the pioneer resident of Jefferson City. He graduated from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1902. Until his retirement in 1967, Mr. Wagner was employed by the G. A. Fischer Drug Company here.
He was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday [Oct 30] at the Tanner Funeral Chapel with Don Plank officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery."
