Note: Francis Vicqueria died in the Civil War on 22 Oct 1864. In order for his widow, Adeline, to receive a military pension, she first had to prove they were married. The church where Francis and Adeline were married was contacted to confirm that Adeline and Francis were married there in 1843. She was the widow Francis Vecqueray who was killed on 24 Oct 1864 in his tent by a shell explosion in Petersburgh, VA. She married Francis on 8 Sep 1843 and has not remarried since his death. Francis left 4 children under 16 years of age: Mary (b. 19 Nov 1851), Christiana (b. 4 Dec 1853), Adeline (b. 2 May 1856), and William (b. 8 Nov 1860).
