On Blanco Co, Texas marriage record #979781, there is a Mary Garner and Phillip E. Smith married in Johnson City 12 Nov 1895. Vol 2, P 140. Also an Alta Garner md W. P. Hickson on 24 Dec 1911 (Vol 5, p 70) who was living with Phillip E. Smith on 1910 census as stepdaughter. She was age 18. Also on census is Lillie M. Garner 16/ALA, also a stepdaughter.
