"John Burden : John is listed as brother to Julia Burden, who md Wm Riley Kirk b. 1827, whose first wife (according to transcript of Lynn Co, OR Early Settlers*) was Sarah W Eads b 1830, dau of Isaac (or John?) Eads.
In 1853, after Sarah's death, Riley md a member of the 1845 Joel Palmer wagon train, Julia Burden, who had settled in Polk Co with her parents and family."
