brothers and sisters did, she had a summer project to keep her busy. She raised turkeys and sold them during the holiday periods, saved her money until she had enough to buy a beautiful, new organ for the parlor. This organ was the center of family entertainment and pastime for many years. Jossie's
turkeys also provided another pastime. The grandchildren loved to run and hide thru the turkey trails in the tall prairie grass (clean feet at the end of the day were NOT reported). Jossie loved the outdoors and spent much of her time helping her father."
