Young People Join in Wedlock - Mr Lavon Wright of this city and Miss Ada Thomas of Portland, Ore., were married in the Salt Lake temple last Wednesday, the ceremony being performed by Apostle Melvin Ballard, formerly Pres. of the Northwest Mission, where Mr. Wright labored as a missionary for nearly 28 months.
Since his return from the mission field Lavon has attended the North Pacific Dental College at Portland, and it was while at the College, that he met and woed Miss Thomas.
The young couple returned from Salt Lake last Thursday, and will spend their honeymoon in visiting relatives and friends a short time, after which Mr. and Mrs. Wright will leave for Portland, where Mr. Wright will finish his course in dentistry.
The newly-weds are well and favorably known in their respective communities, and have many friends who wish them happiness and prosperity in their journey through life, in which the Courier heartily join.
