Squire Albert immigrated from Bavaria in 1839 & settled on farm in Cole Co, then to Jefferson City in 1866. Prominent farmer near Ewing Stn. He had a grocery business for two years, disposed of his interest & went back to farm (8 mi east of Jeff City), where he died April 15,1879.
