ALBERT'S HOUSE ON ALGOA: Don Walther 3/1991 - highway to St. Louis went in front of Albert's house, then Thomas Walther's house on ridge of hill. Railroad went across Ewing's property down where tracks are now, to Ewing Station at end of Algoa Road turn (Reformatory now is). Jim Knaebel owns a home west of old Albert Walther home. (after cross Moreau going east, take first road on left and go up hill - Albert's house east of Knaebel's) Knaebel has the will of Thomas Walther in his abstract. [also has a copy of what house looked like early on] Jim lived in house about 15 years while building current home. (Robert P. Wagner has photograph of house with family in front)
