Uncle Dick and Aunt Ellen were involved in a car accident in Edmonton on
November 16, 1993. Aunt Ellen was killed instantly but Uncle Dick lived for
another ten days. Someone ran a red light and hit them as they were driving
through the intersection. The two other people in the car, the Rollisons, were also seriously injured. He was Aunt Ellen's son by a previous marriage.
