Abigail Salisbury joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1838.
She moved to Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois, in 1843.
Abigail received her endowment on 23 December 1845 in the Nauvoo Temple.
She began the westward trek in 1846 but stopped at Pottawattamie County, Iowa.
She was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1860 at Montrose, Lee, Iowa.
