The families came from Orange County, New York around 1805. Joel Campbell [Sr, 1735-1828] came with his second wife, brother Benjamin, and children Joshua, Ezekiel, Joel, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Benoni, and William. Joel and his wife lived to very advanced ages.
