Prince: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Wallowa County Chieftain (Enterprise, OR) - November 22, 2011 Deceased Name: Margery L. Prince Margery L. Prince, 96, a lifelong resident of Wallowa County and one of t he county's oldest natives, passed away Nov.14, 2011, at a care facilit y in The Dalles. She was born in the Powwatka area on Oct. 18, 1915, the youngest of six c hildren born to Herman and Harriett (Blow) Fischer. She grew up in Lostin e, graduating from Lostine High School . Margery married John Edward Prince on Oct. 1, 1934. She lived in Wallow a County until June of 2011. She was a member of the Christian Church an d Ladies Auxiliary in Wallowa County. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting an d was a great cook. She is survived by her children, Dolores Evans of Stayton, Shirley Rimbe y of The Dalles, Lola Moore of Beaverton, Gene Prince of The Dalles and S haron Chopp of Newport; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandch ildren and great-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death b y her husband and parents. She will be interred at the Wallowa Cemetery, with Spencer, Libby and Pow ell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
