James Hawkins and wife Nancy (Tomblin), John Hopper and wife Frances (or
Franky Tomblin) and Barrett White, dated 1 Apr 1830.
Land to be sold that was given by deceased Mother (Elizabeth White
Tomblin) to Tomblin sisters. Tract of land on Taylors Fork Silver Creek
in Madison County. Both sisters were interviewed separately and had
voluntarily given up rights to the land without undue influence by their
husbands.

In Madison County, Ky Feb 7, 1875, Mr John Hopper, an honest, industrious
man with a very large family depending on his daily labor for support. He died
suddenly of brain disease.
