Documents | The Marriage of George Turner and Eliza Felstead in 1842 George, a single man and labourer of Hoveton St Peter, married Eliza Felstead, a single woman of Hoveton St Peter, on the 10th of November, 1842. George's father was Abraham Turner. Eliza's father was John Felstead. Also shown is the marriage of a Mary Felstead (father, John) to James Vout. She is probably Eliza's sister. NOTE: After extensive research, the records show that this John is Phillip. On the 1851 England Census, Phillip's daughter Marianne and her husband James Vout is living with him. The dates for both Marianne line up as well as the dates for the birth and death records for Eliza. Source: Norfolk, England, Church of England Marriages and Banns, 1754-1940 | |
