WAGNER-COYLE. At Jacksonville, Illinois, Thursay, October 5, by Rev R W Allen, Mr Julius Wagner of Jefferson City, MO., to Miss Maggie F Coyle of Jacksonville.
A genuine love-match, and it always gives us pleasure to chronicle an event of this kind. Mr. Wagner is one of our rising young men. He is energetic devoted and attentive to his business, favorably known by all, a native of Cole and with the brightest prospects for the future. His chosen bride comes from beyond the Father of waters, and is in every respect suited to be the companion
of our young friend for life. Julius has plucked a flower of rare beauty from the prairies of the Sucker State, and we congratulate him--congratulate him, too, that through all the weary months of waiting they have been faithful to each other, and now that their brightest hopes have been realized, now when not even the shadow of a cloud obscures their sky of happiness, now that they are to journey on through life, to be parted no more save by death, we can only heartily wish them all the joy commensurate with their devoted love."
Same page of paper: "Julius Wagner returned from St Louis yesterday morning, bringing a large and varied assortment of goods for the great auction depot and commission house. We understand that, while his purchases have been extensive, he has taken ample time to select only such articles as are especially adapted to the Jefferson market, and those wishing to purchase can undoubtedly be accommodated with rare bargains."
