George Diffenbaugher, In Greensburg, two miles north of Smithsburg, at hi s home, died George Diffenbaugher on Sunday morning, age 68, from pneumon ia, havign been sick only a few days. He is survived by three sons- Andre w living in Minnesota, Henry, in ohio, George M., at home. The deceased w as a soldier in the late war, having served as a member of Company E, Fir st maryland. The funeral will take place this morning at Smithsburg. Th e following comrades will act as pallbearers: HH Ross, LL Baschtel, GR Fi shack, George Masters, HV Scholl, Eli McLane. Tues, April 14 1896.
