Documents | The Guaridanship of the Children of James Wollerton When James died, all five of his children were under the age of fourteen. William, James' brother, went to Orphan's Court to have a guardian appointed. On February 1, 1820, George Mechem? and Anthony Gray were appointed guardians. On March 31, 1828 Anthony Gray posted notice that he was filing for guardianship of the estate of the children. This file contains the court records of guardianship as well as the inheritance that they received from Anthony Gray when he died.
