Schwarzenbach/Saale, Bavaria, (West) Germany. Third son, from Schieda.
Witnesses: Johann Adam Mertel, only son of the late Johann Konrad Mertels
residing in Friedmannsdorf.
MG: Evangelical-Lutheran Parish Marriage records 1815, pg 23, Schwarzenbach.
Mg rcd says resident of Schieda (outside Seulbitz), legitimate third son
and single, also he and father residents of Martinlamitz.
DTH,BUR: Evangelical-Lutheran Parish Death records 1846, pg 2321, line 5, also
Schwarzenbach.
When died, tenant farmer and resident of Seulbitz (or Selbitz, but not
Seiblitz) and was 60 yrs, 17 days old. Died of stomach hardening at noon. Was
buried with a sermon (more well-to-do). His Physician, Dr. Poehlmann. Says
Poehlmann. Say immigrated to N America after 1856. Wife died 1865.

NOTES: Also Horst says Buchta is a Czech name, occuring in Oberfranken,
originally spelled Buchka. Czech border 25 miles east and religion Catholic.

bn 2 May 1835, daughter of Johaney Puchta and Anna Margaretha...who? Also, on
page of Johann George Walther" Witnesses were Johann George Puchta, farmer and
resident of Unterpferale. Who?
