- Hus. --Isaac Van Tuyl was 25 yrs. of age in 1706 census of Staten Island. Hist. & Gen. Msc. N.Y. & N.J. Vol 1 p. 152. The witnesses at Isaac's & his twin brothers bap. at the New York City Dutch Reformed Church were (sponsers Jan Pietersen, Joost Ryckuyt, Lysbeth Lubbertse And Gerrit And Claertis Leydecker.) His will Proved 27 Nov 1728 gives his age as 47 yrs.

The Census of Staten Island in 1706 includes Isaac Van Tuyl age 25 and Sarah Vantull. The ancient baptismal records of their children in the Dutch Reformed Church in Port Richmond, Staten Island, New York are written in Dutch. The Dutch Reformed Church in New York City (Presbyterial) was the first church in New York State, organized in 1628 on Manhatten Island with a population of 270. Until 1803 services were in Dutch. It is now known as Marble Collegiate Church on Fifth Avenue; Rev. Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, pastor since 1928.
Isaacs Will dated 20 Dec 1724 & Proved 27 Nov 1728 His Will states "To Eldest son Isaac , or such of my sons as shall be eldest at my decease, one golden pistole, in full of all pretence as heir at law. To wife Sarah, full power to dispose of all estate during her widowhood... To my son Isaac $ 50. To my sons Abraham and John
$ 30 ea., all the rest to be divided among all my children, Isaac, Abraham, John, Catherine and Gertruy. Wife, Abraham Lakerman and Abraham Van Tuyl, Gentlenen Execuyor. (NY His't Soc., Vol. XI, AbstracTs of Wills)
Isaac a twin to Abraham apparently farmed near New Dorp, Staten Island, up until the time of his death at age 47 making his last will in 1724.
