1901 WILL of father: John Peasner, Jefferson City, MO, 17 Oct 1901, Proof 25 Jan 1906:
I John Peasner of the City of Jefferson, Cole Co, MO, in the 77th year of my age, but of sound mind and memory, & wishing to dispose of what property I may have at the time of my death, do make publish & declare this to be my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills & Testaments by me heretofore made:
First: Should my wife Mary A Peasner survive me, I will & bequeath to her all the personal property I may own at the time of my death. Should I survive my wife, then it is my will & desire that the personal property that I may own at the time of my death be equally divided among the children of my wife and myself: that is William Peasner, Emma Weigel, Molly Hays, Frank Peasner, Harry Peasner, & Lulu Peasner, children of my wife by a former marriage, & John G Peasner, George W Peasner, August M Peasner, Lawrence A Peasner & Charles W Peasner, who are my children.
Second: I own inlot in the City of Jefferson in Cole Co, MO # 411 situate on the corner of McCarty & Clay Sts, except 35 feet fronting on Clay St & running back along McCarty St 104 ft, 4 1/2 inches, which I have sold to my son August M Peasner for $300. I now reside upon that part of said inlot 411 not included in the sale aforesaid to my son August M Peasner.
This real estate I give & desire to my sons Lawrence A Peasner, Charles A Peasner, George W Peasner and August M Peasner subject to the dower & home- steads rights of my wife Mary A Peasner should she survive me & subject also to a charge of $100, which I will & bequeath to my son John G Peasner, & which is to be paid to him by the aforesaid devises, in lieu of interest in my said home place.
Third:for the purpose of carrying this my will into force and effect, I
appoint my son George W Peasner my executor, & to execute same according to the provisions thereof, & I request that he shall not be required to give any bonds as such. In testimony whereof, I have on this the 17th day of October 1901, at the City of Jefferson MO set my hand & affixed my seal. John Peasner
