The Dice Samuel Armstrong Home, Doe Hill, West Virginia Woodshed side of the combo woodshed/smokehouse to the left. The home has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs and the main floor had a screened porch on the back, a kitchen, pantry, dining room, living room with fireplace, and master bedroom. Steps from the edge of the kitchen led to the full basement which had a well which the home was built over. All the canned goods were kept there along with a 50 gallon whiskey barrel filled with apple juice which fermented into hard cider which Dice loved to offer visitors to satisfy their thirst. | ||
