Ezra Steele, a well-known and highly respected farmer residing near Clar ksburg, died at an early hour Saturday morning after a lingering illnes s from a complication of diseases. Mr. Steele was about 70 years of ag e and had resided in Shelby county for many years.
He is survived by his wife and the following sons and daughters; Mrs. Wal ter Roger, Madison; Mrs. Louis Durr, Sullivan; Mrs. Carrie Smith, Windsor ; Harvey Steele, near Shelbyville; Edward Steele, near Decatur; Roy Steel e, at home; and Calvin Steele, near Clarksburg. He is also survived b y a sister and brother, Mrs. Silas Finks, Cowden and Charles Steele of Be echer City.
