William Wagner, married farmer, Jefferson City, Missouri, died May 28 1925, Jefferson City, Cole Co, Missouri, of Myocarditis and Influenza, attended to by M. R. Aldridge, M. D. He was born Jan. 15, 1849, Jefferson City, MIssouri, son of Christ Wagner and Eliz. Wolfrum [both born Germany], husband of Margaret. He was buried 30 May 1925 in the Wolfrum Cemetery by Walther-Wymore Undertakers of Jefferson City. Informant: Christ Wagner of Jefferson City, Missouri./

The funeral of William Wagner, who died last night after a long illness of complications incident to old age, will take place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of his son, Christ, on the St Louis road. Rev Berlekamp will conduct the services and burial will be made in Wolfrum Cemetery.
Mr Wagner was born in Cole Co 76 years ago and resided here all of his life. He spent many years on a farm and later moved to this city to make his home. He was for several years employed at Central Grade School. His wife to whom he was married in 1872, preceded him in death 31 years ago yesterday.
He is mourned by two sons, Christ and Conrad Wagner, three daughters, Mrs Emil Schneider, Mrs Fred Miller, and Mrs Nelse Addison, all of Jeff City.
He was well and favorably known throughout the county where he resided for many years. His hundreds of friends regret his death."
