  CHILDREN OF MARGARET A. LOWDERMILK (82) AND JOSEPH ROBERTS James William ("Dock") Roberts (370) was born in Aug. 1842 in Indiana (according to the 1900 census), and died in July 1929. He first married Elizabeth Childress, probable daughter of Stephen Childress and Mary Jane She was born about 1843 in TN. This family was recorded on the 1870 census in Nodaway Co., MO and the 1880 census in Holt Co., MO; their children were born in MO. According to the 1900 and 1910 censuses for Macon Co., MO, he married second Bettie Tracy about 1877. This information contradicts the 1880 census information.
