3101 1886 BIR,MAR,DTH: Family rcds of Marcia Livingood Nelson from letter 25 Nov 1999, great granddaughter, who lived next door to her from the time she was born until she was 10 yrs old - knew her well. At a family reunion abt 1998 she taped the remembrances of William Moyer Grow and Esther Hunt Coffin, the ranch in Ammon ID and their Uncles.
In Pioneers and Prominent Men of Utah, by Frank 1913, it shows Esther bn 1885.

NOTES: Stories from Marci Nelson Jan 2000 letter re Esther Hunt Coffin. It seems she was very sick and dying in the back bedroom of my great-grandmother Effie's home in Ogden, my grandmother being 8 yrs old at the time, and she remembers Esther lying in the bed and taking her last breath. She told me that there had been no one in the room with her when she died and was witnessed by an 8-yr old girl peeking in the door because she was told not to disturb her. Ester died Dec 14 and the weather had been very bad, so they put her in the storage shed behind the house, until they could ship her remains up to Idaho for burial. This was not able to be done until February. My grandmother also told me that William Moyer Grow (her grandfather) would very often go on walk abouts. He would leave his home in Ammon and walk down to Ogden, stopping in towns along the way to stay with friends and relatives. His family decided to give him a horse to make his journey a little easier. The next time he felt the urge to visit, he took that horse and led him, on foot, all the way to Ogden.
