Oma was our little mother..Papa was wonderful too and it was no easy task for any of them. I had the easiest time of all because I never knew my mother and of course didn't miss her like the rest. My mother was a wonderful woman too and Papa loved her very much. He never married again. Not that he wouldn't have had a chance as he was very popular and so much fun.
He and Uncle Bill were such pals and went everywhere together with me tagging along and loving every minute of it. We had so much fun. I was so far behind the rest of the other children in age that I was with Papa so long alone and we got along just fine alone too..."

Lulu & Minnie Burden may be alive yet I don't know. The Burdens all at one time lived about 20 miles from Moscow up near Potlatch & Princeton."

Conjecture: he produced a separate paper covering ancestry of Levi Burden. Anyone know what happened to it?
