David Parent appears on the tax rolls of Breckinridge Co Kentucky in 1837. Again in 1839 he is listed as owning a town lot in Hudsonville, Ky, value of $200.00 and 3 horses, value $250.00.3. (Ancestral Trails Historical Society of Hardin Co, Ky. pg 51) Notes the marriage of David Parent and Jane Awbrey, daughter of John Awbrey. Witnesses were Thomas Awbrey and Johnson Evans. D. Awbrey, 38, with their families also have farms in the area.
