a will. Johann Thomas, his youngest son, was 18 yrs old when his father died
and being underage, had a guradian, Thomas Seifert. The local-judge identified
the heirs at law, because the statutory inheritance had to go into effect:
    1. Elisabetha Walther, widow (says 2nd mg with no named children)
Then the children of the first marriage, the deceased Catharina (Karl says the
judge mixed up the names of the wives. Elisabetha was first)

After this document there was a summary of the assets and liabilities, showing
each child receiving cash property, etc except Johann Thomas rec'd nothing,
with a balance of 539fl 49kr. Then a summary of the calculations of the
portions and distributions of the 1/2 farm #8 in Wulmersreuth were listed:
The widow Elisabetha Walther gave up her portion for the benefit of the
children. She contented herself with the removal-funds of 500fl and natural
produce to be given every year till she died. She also took 24 household
utensils, which were specified. The balance of the 539fl 49kr were divided in 8
equal portions. Johann Thomas was to receive the 1/2 farm #8, cattle and grain,
and to pay the expenses of the funeral, his mother, etc. Signs under the
