Matilda bn 6 Sep 1832/KY, 2 children-Henry & Florence Quick. Matilda Bales & 3 children left for Sullivan and Grundy Co, MO. Daniel's wife, Lovina Hyatt dd, and he md Matilda later. They did not have any children and later moved to Cambridge Nebraska and Blackfoot Idaho. In later life, Daniel Bales lost his eyesight, due to accidents. He and Matilda were of the Mennonite Faith. She died 1902. Son, Levi Beals, a widower since 1878 and who left Grundy Co MO in 1898 to reside in Nebraska cared for his blind father until [he died] July 1905. Burial for both just west of old Bales homestead.
