In Cothern's History of Woodbury, Vol 1, p. 663, it is stated that William Preston removed to New Haven,Conn., and signed the fundamental agreement of Jan. 4, 1639, and that he had four children born in New Haven.(Loomis Genealogy Vol 1, p. 13) Will dated 9 Jul 1647.William married Elizabeth Loomis Abt 1616, Braintree, Essex, England.
