HISTORY: "Descendants of John and Abigail Thurlo:"Lived on home place with brother David until he was 59, then married a young woman and lived happily on the home place until he died. In addition to farming all his life, Tom raised some fine horses, as did several of the Thurlos of his generation. Being somewhat mischevious and daring, he was known to have "race his pacers down the streets of Boswroth", sometimes terrorizing those who happened to be in the street ahead.
